• Adobe Encore DVD

  UDF 1.02

  I have gottenin contact with a replication facility for a project i have produced and they have asked that i send them a dvd image in an iso (UDF 1.02) format. Encore 2.0 as far as i can tell exports in a default iso – is there a way i can tell if it conforms to this UDF 1.02 and if not change it to do so?

  Encore writes UDF 1.02 DVD discs and images. Try a search online for UDF verifiers and see if you can find a utility that will verify the UDF format.

  UDF 1.02 is the UDF spec used by DVD-Video – there have been developments of the UDF spec since then, but this is the one laid out in 1996. HD-DVD Blu-ray should use UDF 2.5 and/or 2.6.

  The point is, as 1.02 is DVD-Video spec, that should be all Encore is able to produce!!
