Hy! I created my menues in Photoshop and imported them in Encore 1.0. Everything looks fine, also in the preview mode. But on the final DVD, it looks bad, as if I used to small of a resolution. Which is not true, as my imagesize in Photoshop is PAL and the resoultion 200 dpi. What can i do?

You should only need 72 DPI to create your menus. Did you create them at the PAL size? That would be 720 x576 rectangle pixels. Not sure what the conversion would be if you are using square pixels. If those aren’t correct, then the final output would appear muddy.

Yes, i created them in 576X720. I used Photoshop 7. Ok: how can i see if I used rectangle pixels and where can I set it up? In “imagesize”?

If I recall correctly, PS7 only supports square pixels. From a quick search, start your menu in photoshop with a 768 x 576. That will resize to the correct aspect ratio upon importation into Encore.
