I am making a interactive dvd using encore. I want to have about 10 menus with just next buttons that moves you to the next menu. Each will contain a paragraph of information, basically just clicking next through a slideshow. I want music to be playing in the background through out all the menus. How do i do that? As soon as i click to the next menu the music stops.

Is there a different way I should be doing this or a different program I should use?

You mean have the same music play across multiple menus? That’s not possible at all with the DVD-Video format, sorry.

If you meant something else, could you explain it a bit more?

As Joe has stated..it is not in the DVD spec to have music playing without a break across multiple menus 🙁

No way to do this in DVD-Video.

You could certainly do something like this in Flash, but then you wouldn’t be making a DVD…
