  First Play problems

  Hi Everyone

  I am on Encore 1.5 and have created a simple disc that has the main menu as its first play.
  I have a Sony DVD Player and Hitachi Player and the the disc works as expected on both machines.
  I have recently bought a new Sony DVD Recorder but when I put the disc in this machine I do not get the Main Menu as first play.
  In fact the disc doesnt ‘first play’ at all and the only way i can access the disc contents is to use the ‘title list’ on the remote.

  If I put a regular DVD that has been bought from a shop the player detects the signal, switches over an runs the disc as expected.

  What do I need to do to my disc to get it to run the ‘first play’?

  Hi Gene

  The end action on the menu is ‘stop’ at the moment…

  Should that be set to sometning else?
