on importing PAL quicktime into encore…
hi here, a encore newbie here..,
i made some short clips in Avid Xpress DV and
exported them as 720×576 quicktime’s, now when
i try to import them into Encore it say’s that
they have to be 720×576, but the are !, what goes wrong? -

The error message is slightly off, I’ve seen it do this before. Encore sees something wrong, but the only error message it knows to put up is about the frame size. Something else is likely wrong with the file, such as the pixel aspect ratio, bitrate, frame rate, etc.

thanx, i checked the spec’s of the quicktimes again
and i think i found someting, somewhere in the movie export
settings i found in the box “motion” an option “frame reordering”
i’t was turned on by default, i turned it off, and now it seems to
work !!
