I have been tasked with keying out the background on a supplied “green screen” video that opens with a fade in. I was able to key out a majority of the clip without any issue using Keylight, but I experience major noise issues around the edge of the person when the video fades in.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any workarounds for this or if I am just SOL without the original “green screen” file.

I use quotes because I believe the file may have been keyed out previous and then placed on a solid green background when it fades in.

You could try to add a simple choker around your footage. Until the noise issues are gone.

    Thanks Christophe.

That resolved it well enough for what I needed.
