  Not sending or receiving SDI Signal with LIlliput Monitor

  So I have two Sony XDCAM PMW-EX1 Camcorders at my work, but neither can send SDI signals to my LIlliput 7″ LCD Monitor. I’ve used different SDI cables and cycled through all the output settings on the Sonys (including 24p and 60i), but no dice.

  For some reason, the monitor does accept a signal that I convert from composite out to SDI, but the end quality is obviously very poor. I’m thinking it’s most likely a problem with the monitor. Any ideas? Thanks!

  If I’m not mistaken, if the HDMI output is turned on the SDI will not work. You can switch which output is active in the menu.

  Actually the EX1 doesn’t have an HDMI output (see the tech specs here https://www.pro.sony.eu/pro/lang/en/eu/product/broadcast-products-camcorders-xdcam/pmw-ex1/specifications/) . I activated the SDI signal in the menu on both cameras, but nothing so far works.
