  PMW-EX 30 Question

  Hi, I understand that the PMW30 records in MPEG2 Long Gop files.

  I’m looking for a solution that would allow me to record directly out of a Premiere Pro timeline creating a file that I can directly to the TV station as opposed to a long MXF export then upload.

  Sorry for the newbie question, but any help would be appreciated.

  yes, you can do this with the EX30. it will record the file in one of the EX codecs. when you upload the data make sure you zip up the whole BPAV folder on the root of the card.
