  playback of xdcam ex quicktime movies on a pc

  Hi All: I have been reading the posts here and am also having difficulty with this pesky codec. The files play fine in quicktime, vlc and fcp on my mac but they don’t play on a pc either in qt or vlc. Sometimes vlc will play the files, sometimes they stutter and freeze and sometimes they just crash vlc.

  I’ve been experimenting with various export options. I used MPEG streamclip to convert using the H264 codec and those files will play on a pc but I don’t want to compress my video.

  Any ideas?
