  EX1 Histogram weirdness

  Hey gang!
  Just picked up a EX1 used (LOVE IT!) but have a weird question about the histogram…
  Even tho I have set the cam back to no Picture profile, and default settings, the histogram still never shows a true zero black. It honestly looks like a 7.5 setup that will not go away. Have tried different picture profiles, setting picture profiles wonky just to see, but the histogram never shows anything below 7 or 10…

  The only settings I can find that even might be related is the Setup/On/Off for the composite output… that is now off. no change…

  Will have access to a switcher with a scope next week to determine if it really is pumping out 0 black but wondering if anybody has insight… Doug Jensens EX1 fieldguide shows many histogram shots and none of them exhibit this… what am I doing wrong?
