  PMW 500 compatibility with EX3

  Hi Guys,
  Does the PMW500 need to be operating in FAT mode to record at 35mbps and be compatible with EX3 footage or does UDF mode work?

  Yes, the EX codecs are only available in FAT mode. There’s a 35 Mb XDCAM codec available in UDF mode but it is the legacy XDCAM HD format and is 1440 x 1080.
