I’ve just bought ex3 and after i shoot a few clips for testing i took it for my first work with it.I had taken more than an hour of footage without a problem and then i saw a purple circle ot about 4mm diameter on the down side of my viewfinder. This spot had a weak purple colour but then it became stronger for a few minutes a then weak again until it disappeared. Then it shows up again with a deep purple colour and it stays there for about half an hour until it started getting weaker and weaker until it disappeared again and naver saw it again.I dont know what caused this problem and i’m very worried about because camera is brand new.Can anyone help me?

Return the camera for service. I want to say a dead pixel, but not sure. Better to return the camera to Sony, or if the place of purchase will exchange it, that would be even better.
