  Effect Dropdown Menu all messed up!

  Apologies if this has been mentioned before but I am running AE 5.5 on a Mac and I recently installed some new plug ins and it has now messed up my effects drop down menu (so for instance my Sapphire plugins are not in there different folders but all the plugins are just in the menu – see below) any help would be greatly appreciated!

  I believe they need to be in a sub-folder inside the plug-ins directory. Just make a “sapphire” or whatever folder and drag them in there. Then you’ll have to restart AE.

  Thanks for the replies – they are already in a folder called Sapphire Plug Ins in the plug in directory.

  Anyone else got any ideas? All the effects are in proper subfolders in the plug ins folders but they still appear like this in the actual app.

  Any thought would be really appreciated!!!
