  Monitor Showing Black and White

  I have my EX1 plugged into Component out using that cable that came with the camera.

  My external monitor shows only black and white.

  I tried multiple monitors AND even bought a new cable from B&H.

  Still showing Black and WHite.

  Is there a setting in the camera that may be doing this?

  It’s a first generation EX1, but I did not expect it to go out so soon.

  It records just fine… just the preview is in B&W

  Any ideas?

  You are using a monitor with a component input and not just a composite input? For Composite you use the A/V output.

  Sorry.. I’m not sure what you are asking, but I am using the same setup I have used fro 4 years… its just recently that it turned to B&W
