I have HDV footage and Vegas Pro 9c. Vegas properties are set to 1920×1080. Render settings are set to HDV 720×480.

In the Vegas Preview window all is normal, but when rendered the height measurement is shrunk so that the top of video and immages are cut off.

How can I render HD footage so that the rendered results corresponds to what I see in Preview?

Also, after installing 9c (a couple of times) Help files (as well as context helps) are not available. How can this be fixed.

I have used Vegas Video since v. 5.0

    Hi,

Not used Vegas in an age, but if you want to export the same as the Vegas properties “1920×1080” which would be your preview, just select it in your export size, or do a custom export.

But the best thing to do would be to change your timeline / vegas settings to match that of your source footage and export ratio, check your cut and output at the native size.

    What is the output for?
