I just purchased the new design of the Axis Dolly. Its really quite amazing. It is a trackless (or track) dolly system that can function as a …
    1. Table top dolly with ability to mount fluid head
    2. Floor dolly with tripod and camera mounter for trackless or track moves
    3. Jib dolly for my EZ FX jib …aloowing me to make dolly moves with jib or just relocate it.
The version I bought is the NEW and IMPROVED design which is different from the model shown at the website.
I am very excited about the variety of applications I can get from this well designed piece of equipment.

Thanks for posting this, Tom. Looks like an interesting little rig. I’m curious about how you’ll use it – will you use tracks primarily? The wheels look too small to roll smoothly on floors. What kind of tracks will you use with it?

    Hi Bob:
Actually my primary motivation was to get some wheels for my EZ FX jib. But when I saw how versatile it was, and that it was trackless, I couldnt resist buying it. It does work with PVC I think, but you lose the arcing capability. Table top, tripod and jib will be how I use it…although only time will tell.
