January 14, 2012 at 6:49 pmYeah, that’s pretty vague. What effects do you have applied to the adjustment layer?

January 14, 2012 at 11:59 pmSystem Specs – i7 2600k , 8gb ram, 6870 2gb.
AE Version – CS5 is all I know
OS – Windows 64 bitAnd I’m not sure what you mean by Open GL on or off.
And it crashes even if I don’t have any effects on…

Uncheck “Enable OpenGL”Is it only happening in one comp or does it still happen even if you create a new comp? How about in a new project?
Try trashing your preferences file too.

January 15, 2012 at 10:06 amPost a screen capture of your project- maybe we can see something there.
You got your answer from Eric as far as OpenGL goes.
Did you try creating a new project and adding an adjustment layer to see if it crashes?Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

May 29, 2017 at 1:29 pmI know this post is from a while ago but I have the same problem.
My AE version if AE CC 2017.
Every time I try to add an adjustment layer, my AE immediately crashes… Any ideas?
