  2.6 MBP out of budget, will a 2.4 work?

  I can’t afford a 15″ 2.6 gig MBP so here’s the config of what I can afford. Will this work for transfering SxS cards and doing occassional editing?

  2.4 core duo
  2 gb DDR2 SDRAM
  NVIDIA 8600M GT 256mb SDRAM
  5400 rpm serial ATA HD

  $1800 from Macmall

  Just a quick yay or nay from a few in the know is all I need.

  I have a first generation, almost 2-year old mbp. 2.16 intel core duo. Works fine.
