Hi! I’m new to InDesign and was previously using AI.

There are features I like in ID and others I like in AI. One feature I use in AI a lot is using the scroll wheel to change the font size and the leading space.

However, in InDesign…it’s a bit backwards.

In AI, scroll wheel up means font size gets bigger. Scroll wheel down means font size smaller.

In ID, scroll wheel up means font size gets smaller, and down makes it bigger… which doesn’t make sense in my head and it’s driving me nuts.

Could someone shed light on this and let me know how I can change the direction of the scroll for the font size to be like AI?

Also, the leading is buggy too. Scrolling for the leading doesn’t go up incrementally either, it either changes a little or a lot. Nothing in between. I rather not take my hand off the mouse to type in the number because i rather see it get to the right size by scrolling rather than guessing what size I need.

    Help?
