How do I clear old images that appear on the links list?
I’ve created a layout and deleted some images that I don’t need any more. These images still appear as a warning when I run a preflight or when I open the document up – it says the link file is missing… but I don’t want those pictures to be associated with the document any more. How do I clear the list of linked images? Help!!!

The links palette shows only the files which are currently referenced in your document. So they are there somewhere, on some given page, the pasteboard or a master page. If you want to see where one is, in the links palette – click on the name of the image then click on the button on the bottom of the palette that is second from the left (hover over with your mouse and it says “Go To Link”).
