  My footage don’t show image in AE,

  Hi,

  Last week I had to shoot in de bluescreen studio.
  I imported my footage (RR1_0120_01.mp4) in After Effects but there is no image, only audio. I’m only able to here my footage,.. without image.

  I can play my footage with VLC player, so I can see the video, but the problem is with AE.

  Whats wrong here? I really need to get started with the editting.

  I’m working with:
  Windows 7
  Adobe After Effects CS 5.5
  K-Lite Codec Pack 8.00 Full

  I have this problem before I installed the K-Lite codec pack.
  I installed K-Lite because people told me that it might be a codec that is missing.

  Is there a solution to get my footage work in After Effects?

  Get rid of every possible shred of k-light. Then uninstall and reinstall your Adobe software. It should work.

  I have uninstalled those codec packs. I even reinstalled Windows 7 and I installed Adobe Master Collection 5.5, but it still give the same problem. It’s a cracked version of adobe.

  I used a the Sony EX3 and it seems to have XDCAM codec.
  How do I get rid of this codec?…Without losing quality.

  Well, there’s your problem.

  If you can’t afford it because you’re a student, buy the student version from Adobe! It’s a lot cheaper. 🙂 If you can’t afford it and you’re a grown up, be a grown up and save your money until you can buy it.
