Problem rendering (W7, 64bit, 8GB Ram, ATI Radeon HD 5450)
Hi!
Well, always when I render with these properties…
quality: best
resolution: full
format: quicktime/avi
open gl renderer marked1920×1080
(all others setting default, sound makes no difference)
my video always get delayed and keeps tilting etc
but I when I render it on draft, half resolution, mp4 format etc; the video goes ok.
is it something on hardware? can anyone gimme tips how can I solve this?
I would try anything, be creative, I will try every solution you give me. Thanks.

It’d start by turning off the OpenGL renderer. It is severely limited [link].
What version of AE are you using? What kind of footage?

the lastest, CS5.5
It’s basically AE vectors animation and some PNG images, it’s not heavy stuff, that’s the wierd part!I will turn off the Open GL Renderer (it works the same way when it’s off, i just thought it would get better somehow)

Yeaaaa, it makes a lot of sense. I will find out different output settings.
could u gimme a tip about what settings would be appropriate for playing it on a DVD player? I will try several anyway, but if you know the perfect one, it would save me time. 🙂

You can take your intermediate file and bring it into Adobe Media Encoder. Use one of the DVD presets there.
You’ll get better results by rendering an intermediate file from AE and encoding it in AME than you would by rendering directly to MPEG2 for DVD from AE itself.

perfect dude.. but i have just one more problem.
I made the background white but it appears black on preview, i don’t know why. the same happened when I opened the AE file into premiere. why does that happen? does it have something to do with “alpha color” or something?thanks 🙂

that problem with the black color/alpha is over, nvm
but when I render using the AME, it renders and old version of my composition, dunno why GGRRRRRRRRRR -

Are you compressing a file from AME, or using AME to compress from the AEP project file?
If the former, are you sure you’re using the right movie file as the source? If the latter, are you sure you’re opening the right AEP file and comp? Perhaps you’ve saved a new version of the file and need to reference that from AME instead?

It worked fine, i just needed to reopen to update my changes.
I open AME, open the AE video, select the final composition and press ok.
but the BG is still dark, instead of white, dunno why!
