  “Unspecified avi or directshow error”

  Can’t render video with audio on XP SP2 using 6.5. I’m disapointed that there seems to be no solution to this issue. What’s wrong. I’ve searched archives to no avail. Anybody?

  More specifics, please.

  Comp settings?
  Codec in output module?

  Maybe your comp settings are not appropriate for your codec?
