What to use for this style of graphics

Hi everyone. Please someone tell me how to make this kind of graphics for further compositing in AE.
I want to know how to make the “missing piece” on 00:23 of this video.
And please tell me, the lines under titles, are they made with generate/beam effect?
Thanks a lot in advance! Excuse me if the question sounds too simple, I am not strong in drawing and such things but i want to get better.

…I think the “missing parts” look like something that may be generated using Plexus, and maybe the title lines as well. You can do the title lines with the Beam effect linking the ends to Nulls.
