I need to create a video of a rotating credit card (Already designed on photoshop) for an assignment. Would it be more simple to do it on After efects or should i move to a 3D program like maya for better results. Just for a presentation but will be graded on quality of the footage.

With native plugins you will have no depth to the creditcard in AE. You can try and use a PSD 3d layer and texture the card there then animate in AE but in my experience it’s really hard. If you have third party plugins like Zaxwerks Invigorator Pro or FreeForm Pro then you can do some pretty amazing things. If you do not have the above mentioned plugins and/or don’t know how to use them, then go to the 3d package you know best.
