In Memory of Flight 93 and 9/11
Four years ago our country suffered a terrible blow by a terrorist group hell bent on attempting to bring us to our knees.
The last attempt to attack our capital was foiled by a group of passengers who took control of United Airlines Flight 93. The story entitled “The Flight that Fought Back “is told in a very compelling and well produced docudrama which premiered on the Discovery Channel on Sunday September 11,2005.
I urge everyone who desires to find out what happened on this flight to watch or buy the DVD. In light of the recent tragedy of Hurricane Katrina this story is an inspiring story of what the human spirit is capable of doing in times of severe distress. The line recited by one of the passenger “Let’s Roll” gives you an idea what the group of 40 individuals accomplished to save countless others.
In memory of all the brave souls on Flight 93. May their actions serve as guidance for all of us.
