    Hello everybody.
I`ve got a problem with exporting footage from JVC GZ-HM 550 camera to After Effects.
There appeared some “pixelation” in the footage..
How can I keep original footage with high quality while editing in AE? Is there any plugins for it?
If I need to encode footage to any other format, please, can you recommend me codec and its settings?

    Thank you in advance!

All you need to do sometimes is a little search – there are plenty of threads on this subject here.

    Yes, I read this post.
The best way I`ve choosen was QT- Animation, but it reduced the quality in comparison with original footage.
That`s why i wrote this post.

You can have compression with Animation – make sure you did not select compression when exporting to QT Animation. When you say you loose quality, what are you comparing it to? How do you preview the footage- in AE or other player?

You can transcode AVCHD to WMV via Pav tube MTS Converter for AE.
