    Hello,

I’m hoping someone can help me.

I am running a 4 camera shoot into a video switcher. We recently purchased a Blackmagic Hyperdeck Studio to record long lectures with as a means of going tapeless.

It was our first time using it so we ran two video and audio outputs. One to our old Pansonic DVC Pro tape deck, and one to a Blackmagic Analog to SDI converter then into the Blackmagic Hyperdeck Studio pro.

Upon playback we noticed a progressive sync issue with the audio. During the beginning of the clips the audio and video were synched twords the middle of the clips they were about 15 frames off by the end of the two hour clip they were as much as 45 frames off.

The real head scratcher for me is that the exact same audio and video feeds were ran to the dvc pro deck. Upon playback of the tapes everything is synched just fine. Blackmagic support says that there are no known synch issues with either the signal converter or the deck but clearly something on that end is causing the problem…

Any suggestions? Anything would help! Thank you!!
