Has anyone attempted to replace the fan on their Decklink card? I have spent a ton of money on silencing up my beast of a workstation with Noctua fans and sound insulation. Still the loudest thing in there is the tiny fan on my Decklink HD Extreme 3D+ card. I was thinking of purchasing a 40mm Noctua fan to replace it. However I’m only guessing it’s 40mm as 80mm appears to big. Anyone try this and know the fan size? Is there adhesive or a heat pad with thermal grease below the stock one? It’s such a howler.

Seriously nobody has had this issue? We have an older Ultra Studio thunderbot breakout box on our Mac Pro Trash Can and that thing is the loudest thing in the room. The little 1u breakout box’s fan just howls. Was hoping somebody had tried replacing a fan on one of these older cards.
