    Hi everyone!

We are trying to do a multi-cam recording set up and I need to know whether the two situations below could work:

    1) 2 consumer camcorders connected to a hyperdeck shuttle using HDMI over 30m of Cat5
to 2 hyperdeck shuttles (one for each camera)
    – someone non-technical just presses record on each hyperdeck shuttle and editing done later

    2) 2 consumer camcorders connected using HDMI over Cat5 (30m) to ATEM TV
1 hyperdeck shuttle connected to the output of ATEM TV (there is a person there operating the camera switching)
1 camera with a hdmi splitter going to a separate hyperdeck shuttle (so when there is no one technical present- someone can just press record on both hyperdeck shuttles and the editing can be done later)

Not sure if any of above made sense- but could really use some advice! 🙂
