  BLACKMAGIC C/C++ or JAVA

  I’m starting an application, I need to record in HD, a process about 90 seconds long, showing it in real time on the screen with other information, time, measurements, etc..
  I bought a Hauppauge Collosus card that compressed by hardware H.264 to avoid the compression CPU process and a Sony camera CX-210 with a native MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) output.
  The onscreen delay is terrifying, 2-3 seconds. Collosus does not support SDK.
  The Sony AVCHD camera delivers very good quality, avoiding make H.264 over H.264.
  I read in the Blackmagic forum that has delays of 3 or 4 frames is not a problem for me.
  Which BLACKMAGIC model recommended me, the camera outputs are HDMI or composite.

  I consider that in the future could do streaming.

  1 Which is the delay that has blackmagic?
  2 Java or C + +?
  3 which Blackmagic model do you recommend?
