    Hi!
    Love this forum! <3

The company I´m working for recently bought Television Studio + Camera Converter x3 + Studio Converter.

My “problem” is that everything must run in the same format, ex: 1920×1080 50i or 1280×720 50p. And TVS has no built in scaler.

We are using hired cameras/freelancers with cameras – and they are not always in both those formats. AND we also are connecting laptops to the TVS witch also do not have both formats.

It´s sometimes difficult to connect all together and make it work. SO, I´m thinking there must be a smart scaler I can connect between the camera/laptop (HDMI in/out) and the TVS/Camera Converter. A small and with “all” the best in/out formats.

    Any suggestions?

And …. if the scaler ALSO had VGA-connection in, it would be a blessing. 🙂 *bonus

    Thank you!

Datavideo just came out with their DAC-70 which is an up/down/cross converter with VGA, HDMI and HD-SDI inputs and has both HD-SDI and HDMI outputs. It’s around $500 USD MAP

Kramer makes some good stuff. Usually cheap on eBay.
