  Blackmagic audio recording

  Hi.

  I have a blackmagic intensity pro capture card.
  I need to record voice overs using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 (Windows).

  Im not that crystal on the workings of audio.
  I wish to connect an XLR microphone to a mixer with a pre amp and connect that to the XLR input of my intensity pro card, hoping to record directly into PP.

  Is this the best way to do this?
  If so will this Mixer suffice

  I´m having the same problem. Did you find any solution?

  Have spoken to our audio guy.
  And he says for simple voice overs the above mixer will suffice.
  He got a bit technical saying you may encounter a bit of noise at high DB levels. But for the most part it should work.
