Hello. I’ve got an SDI Decklink and can capture fine to my C Drive with no problems at 1920×1080 29.97fps (AVI 8-bit YUV) with 4 channels of audio. But if I capture to my Raid-0 drive, the audio has little blips in it every 10 seconds or so (the video is perfect).

The BlackMagic Disk Speed test shows the Raid Drive is faster than my C Drive and should be able to write 1920×1080 60fps (AVI 10-bit YUV). The Raid drive is a USB 3 enclosure with two identical 2TB 7200rpm drives (running Windows 7). Is there something I can do to capture to the Raid Drive with out the audio problems? Thanks for any help with this

Very strange. I haven’t experienced that, but it’s possibly a latency issue with USB 3.0. Does the RAID have an eSATA port as well, and can you use it instead?

Do you capture using BMD utility (Media Express I think) or some NLE?

Thanks for your reply, Alex. I am using BlackMagic Media Express to capture. The drive enclosure does have eSata. I will try that and let you know how that goes.
