  Blackmagic Ultrastudio 3d – Video Output to Eizo CG27W Coloredge

  Just arrived a couple of EIZO Coloredge CG27W, to complete the following editing setup:

  – Imac 27 late 2011;
  – Apple Thunderbolt Display;
  – Blackmagic Ultrastudio 3D;

  Eizo has DVI-D input, mini display port and display port.

  What is the solution to playback 1080 material on Eizo starting from Ultrastudio 3d?

  – HDMI to DVI-D cable: no signal;
  – Blackmagic HDLINK PRO?
  – AJA HDP2?
  – GEFEN SDI to DVI adapter?
  – KRAMER VP-471

  The Eizo works perfectly attached via thunderbolt mini display port but I need to use it via broadcast card.

  I suspect (but could be dead wrong) that UltraStudio outputs 1080p29.97 or 1080i59.94 that Eizo can’t sync to over DVI. I’d try HDMI-to-DP, since DP spec supports a wider range of frame rates than DVI. If that does not work, I would try one of the converters you mentioned.
