  Must Have Silence!

  Building my new workstation to replace my aging Mac Pro. Trying to silence as much of it as I can but the little fan on my Blackmagic Decklink Extreme HD card is driving me batty. Has anyone ever tried removing the fan and replacing it with a better after market heatsink? Curious.

  Anyone? It’s the loudest fan in my workstation and very annoying. Tempted to rip it off and put an after market passive heatsink on…but don’t want to burn out the card.
