  Ultrastudio used as extra monitor as well?

  I have FCP X and do some editing but I also sometimes I need to feed a live computer signal into a live switcher.

  I was looking at the black magic website and I see the ultrastudio 3d has SDI in and out and a ref in.
  can I use it as a second monitor to run into a switcher and genlock it so it’d timed properly?
