  Blackmagic Extreme capture file format

  I bought a blackmagic extreme about a month ago and i’m having a little trouble. I have everything working but i can’t choose my capture file format. The only thing i can choose is Quicktime uncompressed 8bit yuv. When i record my file size is 40g or more for one video. I have the newest software for desktop 9.2 and im running on a imac 2.5 ghz intel core i5 4gb of memory. If anyone can point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
