I have no video output with the BM Intensity Thunderbolt. Using an iMac 3.4 Ghz, 8GB RAM, Lion, utilizing Adobe Premiere CS 5.5. Tried EVERY Blackmagic driver available. Worked with BM support and will continue on Monday but what gives? Triple checked System Prefs, Adobe Playback Prefs and multiple formats in Blackmagic. I’ve used Multi-Bridge Pro, HD Link, never an issue. Using for an external broadcast monitor. Not once have I succeeded in an external output with the Intensity TB. I can’t be alone here judging by the amount of BM drivers I’m guessing this hasn’t been a smooth release w/Intensity. I appreciate any input.

    Thanks for the help Margus,

I did the drivers after Premiere was already installed. I’m going to un-install PP and then install the BM drivers again. Then I’ll load PP and see what happens.

After doing an un-install of CS5.5, loading Blackmagic desktop video, then re-installing CS5.5, I had the image. A few things had to be done in addition though. I had to one more time load Blackmagic just to get the pre-set sequence prefs to show up in Premiere. After Effects was good to go but for whatever reason Premiere needed them loaded again.

Video playback in Premiere 5.5 was and is a disaster.

In CS6 they got it working very very very Good.
It’s not your BMD device. It’s Adobe.
Upgrade CS6 and you will be happy.
