We got an ATS setup using a canon m40. Currently, it goes: mini hdmi to hdmi adapter > 16ft super thick shielded hdmi cable > ATS. I am really worried that we are going to kill the jack, as the camera is on a pan/tilt device and the thick cable is too much for the jack.

So we bought the hdmi to sdi mini converter. We have a 3ft hdmi cable, and testing with a Panasonic hdc-sd1, we are able to get a signal on the ATS through the mini converter.

As soon as we use the cable and mini converter on the canon/adapter setup though, the ATS hates us.

I have bought cable after cable, and have finally given up. Does anyone know of a good cable/adapter that can go to the mini converter and ATS? Preferably, the cable would be straight mini hdmi to hdmi.
