What about the red camera footage
Until now i was doing data capturing through black magic and edit in premiere pro with black magic preset. But now we are using r3d files of red camera, and i sometimes dont even see live preview on my desktop . if i choose r3d editing sequence in cs5 it works smoothely. So what i mean is the black magic card i own useless now ?? because i only work on red and 5d only .

That camera captures at 3 and 4K HD which is a higher res than my Shuttle captures, so unless your BM device captures at these resolutions, it’s not worth capturing with. You can still use it as a playback device though.
