Hello, Help needed, I’m setting up a home studio and i want a HD signal coming out of my Mac/ Grade1 feeding to my HD Plasma on the wall…

    My equipment set up is…

Mac PRO (Brand new 8 core)
Black Magic Decklink studio (without the hdmi outputs)
Grade 1 Monitor (no hd card)
    HD Plasma

Is this possible? what connection do i need? Any help would be really appreciated

    Thanks, Ses

gee, maybe it might be a good idea to tell us WHAT PLASMA MONITOR do you own ? Do you think they are all the same ?

    Some have HDMI inputs,
    some have DVI inputs,
    some have VGA inputs,
some only have analog component inputs.

Why do you assume that every Plasma HD TV is the same ? How do you expect to get an answer with accurate information, if you just say “I have a Plasma HD TV”.

    2 options

DECKLINK > SDI > GRADE 1 > GRADE ONE OUT > SDI > BM SDI2HDMI CONVERTER > PLASMA (if it has HDMI

    OR

    > SDI > GRADE 1
    DECKLINK
    > COMPONENT > PLASMA

    Simples.
