  BIP – Can you capture Wii footage with this upscaler?

  Hi everyone!

  So… I can capture both PlayStation 3 (component) and Xbox 360 (HMDI) through my Blackmagic Intensity Pro. With great results; video quality is both sharp and runs smoothly, and the stills I grab looks very crisp.

  However. Something’s is missing: I cannot record Wii, since Blackmagic apparantly doesn’t register any 480p signals?

  So what I’m wondering is: if I buy one of those HMDI upscalers (link here!) and hook everything up to the Intensity Pro with HDMI — would Media Express actually recognize the Wii signal then? Since it’s upscaled to 720p/1080i?

  Would be soooo grateful if someone knows this and can reply, because for me it’s important I can capture all three consoles (PS3, 360 and Wii).

  Sorry for bumping, but I’m afraid people have missed my question. It’s very important for me personally to get a answer on this, hopefully someone knows.
