  HD Extreme 3 – HD to SD Down Scale

  Have our footage which was shot using the Panasonic Varicam 2700 (P2) at 720p at 24fps. I may need to have this footage available in both HD and SD so I thought I would try downscaling with the BMD card. We have the HD Extreme 3 (7.3.2).

  I have contacted BMD a couple times about this with no response. Using Premiere CS4 (4.1) and thought the process was:

  -Use BMD Varicam 720p 23.976 preset in Premiere
  -In BMD control Panel, under Processing – select output processing – HD to SD Center Cut 4:3 (for example)
  -Hit save
  -Go back to Premiere and ???

  Sorry but never used before and I thought we we purchased the card, I was told it can do this. Thanks all…just trying to end up with the best footage possible both ways.
