  FCP Print to Video Deck Problems

  I have an HDV project in FCP and am trying to output back out to tape.

  We have a Sony HVR M25U deck connected to firewire.

  I can get the video to output to the deck using the print to video if I am not recording on the deck. (IE the firewire is sending video to the deck). However, when I (either manually or letting FCP start the deck) recording the screen on the deck goes blank and the timecode stops. Nothing is recorded.

  Ideas?
