    Hi everyone:

    I’m in a deep problem. I’m trying to capture the Time Code from the HDCAM 750-W camera to my decklink HD on a FCP. The thing is the camera only have a bnc TC-OUT and the card only reads TC from the RS-422.

    Do you have any idea how to capture the Time Code? I heard about some “translators” but no one answers me on their websites..

    I’m in Guatemala City and I have no chance to rent a player!!

    Please help me this is issue

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

    Hi.

    This camera probably has FW ?

    I have done like that i capture SDI like always but for camera control and timecode use firewire instead. Generally it work well. I have had some issues with avid offlines but that might be that Avid express and FCP have different underestanding on timebase and i suspect that Cheapo avid makes all go bad. Same material captured one on fcp and fw control other on Avid Express and fw only.

    Hope it helps.

    Hi

    Thanks for your answer!

    The camera don’t have a FW, I’m looking for some kind of “translator” from the BNC-TC OUT of the camera to the RS-422 of the Blackmagic decklink HD.

    I’m keeping looking for the solution;

    thanks again for your help!
