  Trouble capturing/master to tape with Multibridge Pro with Pana D5

  Our client is having problems capturing from Panasonic D5 and mater to tape back through HD-SDI.
  When capturing, some black frames get recorded and upon master to tape, CRC error shows up on the D5 deck.

  The client is not using the reference generator at this point, so I’m going to do that but is there any similar issues around?

  The above problem seems to be caused by having a patcher in the middle.
  However, other system coming in to the same patcher and to the Panasonic D5 deck even has longer cable length but it has no problem.

  Do you think Multibridge Pro’s HDSDI signal doesn’t have as much tolerance than other sysmtes?

  Does anyone know little more affordable repeaters than AJAHD5DA (because I would prepare two of them)?
