  which new portable IO card in a BlackMagic environment

  Hi there,

  We are looking for a new IO card to attach to a MacBook Pro (previous generation).
  We have a mixed Apple – Windows environment using BlackmMagic Decklink cards. Our workflow requires a lot of switching between workstations. The new IO card should fit in nicely in this workflow.

  A few questions:

  Are we obliged to stick with Blackmagic cards or are there alternatives which don’t require rerendering (ie compatible with the Blackmagic codec, both ways)? If so, which?

  Which external card can be attached to the MBP slot?

  Anybody know a good site or guide for comparisons between IO cards?

  we are looking too for the same I/O-Card, but for a windows notbook.
  Do you have such card in near future?
