  • Multibridge Pro – Choppy with Quicktime Playback.

Folks, I just setup my new Multibridge Pro to my Mac Pro, and out (via HDMI) to my Panasonic Plasma TV. One of the first things that I noticed was that playing back a Quicktime movie (whether it be HDCAM EX 720p footage or an H.264 trailer from the Apple site) in Quicktime and presenting the movie to the plasma was very choppy. Yet when I played the HDCAM EX footage in Final Cut Pro and set playback out through the Multibridge it played back silky smooth.

Why can’t I get smooth playback through the multibridge pro just in Quicktime player using the (present movie) feature?

…somehow I know the answer is going to be very simple…

Mac Pro 3 GHz Quad Xeon/ Final Cut Studio 2/ 10 GB RAM/ Multibridge Pro (v2) – latest drivers
