  XDCAM EX workflow on Multibridge PRO

  We have a MAC PRO 8ct core 12GB RAM with MULTBRIDGE PRO and CALDIGIT’s HDPRO 4TB running Final Cut PRO.

  We’re importing clips through the Sony’s SXS card import plugin into FCP 6.0, resulting in MOV files with MP4 codec. Which is the best worflow to use these files in a BLACKMAGIC’s MULTIBRIDGE PRO hardware? Convert all media files from sony’s codec ? Or use the SONY XDCAM EX timeline?

  I use the XDCAM sequence preset and it plays natively on the BMD hardware without rendering if you use 1080. But if you use 720 it won’t play out on the BMD hardware.
